Story
I have to admit this is a race I had entered under happier circumstances and people are aware I have been running now for the past 4 years. However, due to me and Steve being stuck in Greece for most of July I have to admit I have not been able to achieve high mileages since returning home and have seen my weight increase massively. Whilst out in Athens I did no running whatsoever due to the extremely hot temperatures and when we returned to England most of August has been spent coming to terms with Steve's passing away and wondering whether or not I wanted to continue running. Nevertheless, this is a race I am still wanting to take part in and am going to run for Motor Neurone Disease in memory of Steve and other MND Angels even if I end up walking most of the way as for Steve and other MND Warriers mobility is affected.Updates
Waveney Valley Yellow Group Pub Run
10th September 2019After a long run on Sunday of 11 miles with my running buddy Pat, which I found absolutely physically and mentally draining, tonight was the last off road trail run to the Pub in Somerleyton. However, instead of just running just over the 4 miles me and another running buddy ran from the pub to the meeting point and back again. This was tough as my legs were stung so many times even 2 hours later they are tingling.
Nevertheless, my generous running buddies have helped me so far by sponsoring me £100 already towards MND.
