Our Millennium Year

2000

2000 was certainly a year to remember, in April we took the plunge and purchased our house where we have lived every since, in fact Steve's first words when we moved in was he felt so comfortable he would like to die there......sadly with events that dictated to us this was not to be.

In July we got married, a small family affair at Lowestoft Registry Office with our reception being held at home as money was tight and I was pregnant with our daughter.  We emptied our front room, borrowed trestle tables from the nearby church and thanks to my mother we had a three course meal with 26 of us......and a further 80 people that night from work......we didn't have to worry about the neighbours as on one side the house was empty and the other side......the neighbour was celebrating with us.....or rather celebrating with Steve in our front room......the next day we went to Southport for a couple of days leaving family and friends to clean up the house.

September saw the arrival of our daughter Victoria and our family was complete.
